Faithbook Life Style

Scrapbooking your Faith does not have any real rules. But check out these three "must do" items before you start or continue on your Faithbooking journey. These 3 little points can make a big difference.
1. DO Keep in Mind that the Heart of Faithbooking is Showing God's Presence in Your Life.
This is the major difference between "regular scrapbooking" and "Faithbooking."
Numerous times the Bible tells us that each generation should tell the next about God's faithfulness in their lives. For example:
Then (God) commanded our parents
to teach it to their children
So the next generation would know
and all the generations to come-
Know the truth and tell the stories
so their children can trust in God.
Psalm 78:5-7 (The Message)
2. DO Take Photos of Everyday Moments.
We remember our camera (most of the time) for celebrations such as birthdays, graduations, and weddings. But what about those little moments which occur throughout the day? Like your little boy playing in the mud puddle or your little girl pretending she's*the teacher for her dolls. Do you take time to snap those photos? Maybe not so much- if you're like me. Messy spaghetti faces, tents in the living room, having picnics on "Alf" trays-those are some of the everyday photos I regret not taking. Get your camera and snap some of those priceless pictures of everyday life with your little ones. Grab your camera right now-catch an everyday moment now. Do it. You'll be glad you did!
3. DO Attend Faithbooking Classes
Check the churches in your area to see if they offer classes for Scrapbooking Your Faith. There are so many benefits in participating in these classes. You'll learn new techniques and ways to incorporate your faith into your layouts. In addition you'll have some girl-friend time where you can relax and have fun.
A saying that I shared with my nervous students on their first day of middle school seems appropriate to share with you now. "Strangers are friends you haven't yet met." You'll discover new friends of your faith with a common hobby when you attend Faithbooking classes.
The Faithbook life style is all about showing God's presence in your life through everyday moments. So learn as much as you can and if possible enjoy attending some of the Faithbooking Classes. You don't need to feel guilty for spending an hour or two of "me time." Remember you are creating this Spiritual Legacy for those you love!

Personal Bridal Style Revealed

If you are reading this, I am hoping it is because you are lucky enough to be in the swing of planning your wedding. In which case you have met your lifelong partner who has fallen head over heels in love with you. They fell in love with your personality didn't they? So you know you must have something special to work with!
When choosing your outfit and accessories your personality counts. You wouldn't let yourself wear something you don't like or that wouldn't match how you behave, would you? But do be aware that personality doesn't always give you style or flatter your features.
When consulting yourself about your personality ask yourself:
1. What styles do I like?
2. What colours do I like?
3. Who are my style icons?
4. How would I describe myself? (Loud; quiet; friendly; energetic; elegant?)
5. How would I like to be seen on my wedding day? (stunning; elegant; unusual; chic; wow?)
Now you have delved deeper into your personal style and answered some key questions we can combine your personality, tastes and your features to create your ultimate bridal look.
I like to look at personalities like Seasons:

Summer - You are bold, bright and fun loving. You love to make a statement and be center of attention. You can be loud, you are a bit of a risk taker as you live for the moment and you always get things done. You are great with people and a loyal friend. You have bucket loads of common sense.
Autumn - You are natural and down to earth. You are warm hearted popular and conscientious in all you do. Others are important and you often put them first. You have traditional values and have a strong sense of responsibility. You can be insecure and often need reminding just how special you are. You shy away from conflict and appreciate natural beauty. You are also very open-minded and creative. You can be quiet and reflective and you can always see potential and possibilities in any situation.
Winter - You are cool, sophisticated and glamorous; practical, traditional and organized. You value security and safety as this is where you feel confident. You are serious, can be quiet and like a peaceful life. You are very responsible and dependable and you can concentrate well. Tradition is important to you. You work hard and set yourself goals. Once you have your mind set on something you like to achieve it.
Spring - You are youthful and vibrant. Your have a creative flair and can put your hand to almost anything that interests you. New ideas excite you and you are very open minded with a flexible attitude. You are practical and interested in the how and why. You can be quiet and appreciative of beauty.
Now I know we are not stereotypes. I don't expect you to put your personality into a box exactly, we are all individuals and share many qualities. The purpose of this exercise is so I can show you some great ways of accessorizing with your personality and style, to guide you into your own direction. (Do not get confused with seasonal color schemes and personality. Just because you have a bold personality doesn't mean you will look good in a bold color!)
Do any of these seasons describe you? Which one do you have the most in common with? Which seasons do you lean to? We will use the seasons later to find our style colors and best accessories.
Fashion & Trends
Weddings are always in fashion and trends are always great ways to style yourself to now. There is nothing wrong with wanting the super styled fashionable wedding and trends are great to modernize any look. Keep in the know with the latest bridal fashion and trend, but proceed with caution. Like everyday fashion, what's hot today may not be tomorrow, so when you choose the latest style ask yourself:
1. Is it likely to date quickly?
2. Is it...(how you wanted to be seen on you day: Elegant? Glamorous? etc)
3. Is it classic style?
4. Does it match my personality?
5. Does it flatter and enhance my features?
6. Am I going to look back at my photographs in ten years time and wonder what was I thinking?
The most important aspect when making your decisions for your wedding is you need to be totally honest with yourself, even when you don't want to be. You need to choose wisely and make the right decisions as wrong choices can't be undone after your day! My advice is to go with your personal style and tastes rather than latest fashions and trends.
If you want your look to be up to date, wear a classic dress and latest accessory. Accessories will give you the modern look you want, they are less likely to date and you can wear them again and again.

Belts of Different Styles I Like

The love for beauty is a nature of human beings and I am not the exception, especially for the fact that I am a young lady. Nearly all women in the world attempt to make themselves more beautiful by splendid clothes, cosmetics and other adornments which can indeed help women to be more charming. In my opinion, beautiful clothes and cosmetics could make women more attractive without any doubt and belts also play an important role in glorifying women's appearance to a large extent.
When it comes to belts, we can easily find them in shops with a variety of styles. Sometimes, we even have no idea which one we ought to select when buying belts. As for my preference, I would like to choose belts of the following three styles.
Belts in leisure style. I am an outgoing and active girl so leisure clothes are my first choice. If admitted, I could wear leisure clothes to go to work. As for leisure clothes, I like jeans best and I never wear jeans without belts. In fact, there are 10 leisure belts in my wardrobe. Therefore, each of my jean is often matched different belts. Different arrangement could give me different feelings every day.

Waist belts. A lady in dress with a waist band and high heels has more chance to gain a second glance in the street. When a lady wears a belt upon the waist, she could ooze feminine charm. In fact, waist band not only matches dress but also long coat. Women even could display their perfect figure during cold winter when wearing a waist belt which matches coats.
Belts for business suits. Although I do not like formal suits too much, I am fond of belts matched them. Those belts fit for formal suits could make women elegant, mature and beautiful.
